Santa put down that soda! People put those cookies back. Leave Santa something with natural fiber like raisins or cinnamon popcorn (add 1/2 tbs vanilla extract and butter), leave him a pear and one for each reindeer too. Something bubbly to drink? Try clove infused citrus with fizzy water.

For the past ten years I have studied beauty in nature, theory and application. I called this project "Building Beauty." Reading books like; "Survival of the Prettiest" by: Nancy Etcoff, "Seductress: Women Who Raivished the World and Their Lost Art of Love" by: Elizabeth Prioleau (a seductress herself), Umberto Ecos's "History of Beauty" and "On Ugliness," the Bible and on. I studied the golden ratio, Fibonacci and natural symmetry. Instinctively I have known there were laws of nature and nature having an order and balance, genius' have put these rules together physically, intellectually and theologically.
I hope to simplify my learnings and share them on this blog, as best I can.
Currently I am working on the application stage of the project. There are many generous and beauty savvy people on the internet, in particular YouTube. I am considering sharing my bumblings but I am ultimately shy and really have no idea what I am doing.
My learning will continue and continue. I invite you to share your learnings with me here on this blog, please feel welcome to post comments, tweet and send me email.
Beauty has been studied for centuries and will be studied for centuries more. If there is one thing I have learned it is that beauty is sometimes measurable yet it is always infinite. For the purpose of this blog I would like to define beauty as the essence of whole (an ocean wave, talent, knowledge, charity, a smile) and as such it is truth. The truth of who you are, the way you care for, the way you perceive, the way you love.
Have a beautiful day.
